The Ottawa Senators played the Dallas Stars last night. During the game, tensions quickly rose when brady Tkachuk decided to stick an elbow out at Stars number one defenseman Miro Heiskanen.

The hit was clearly after the whistle, but it was just close enough that Tkachuk probably thought he could get away with it. In the end, he did as there was no penalty called on the play.
Ultimately though, the Stars got the last laugh as they completed the comeback to win the game 5-4.
