It was announced this evening that the Kraken had acquired Tomas Tatar from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for a 5th round pick.

Tatar had just one goal and nine points this season with Colorado.
That being said, the 33-year-old is still a valuable depth forward, who drives good results. The Kraken are looking to build a legit playoff team this year and he could be very useful in a depth role, but also as a veteran leader who has experienced playoff hockey before.
