In 11 games, Perry has notched two goals and 7 points while giving this Blackhawks team much needed value on a one-year, $4 million AAV deal, and now, they could be looking to cash in.
Two Atlantic Teams linked to the veteran forward
After a solid start, there's already trade interest in Perry, most notably from the Toronto Maple Leafs and his former team the Tampa Bay Lightning, who are both gearing up for big playoff pushes this season.
Both teams are strapped for cash at the moment as they are close to the salary cap, but with Chicago having plenty of space, they're in the perfect spot to retain some cash for future value, so keep an eye on Perry as his trade value continues to rise this season.
