Avalanche Goalie Goes On A Tirade After Embarrassing Performance

Last night the Avalanche went up against the Arizona Coyotes. With the Coyotes being a fringe playoff team this game was supposed to be competitive but a game the Avalanche would ultimately win.

Early on in the game Colorado took a 4-0 lead. The Coyotes finally got on the scoreboard with a second-period goal from Lawson Crouse. This momentum opened the floodgates and the Coyotes surged back to win the game 5-4 in overtime.

The embarrassing nature of how the Coyotes came back led to major frustration from Colorado. This was especially true for goaltender Alexander Georgiev.

In a game where the Avalanche gave up 5 goals in a row Alexander Georgiev struggled heavily. He only faced 27 shots total in the game and had a 0.815 save percentage. His terrible game led him to lose his cool after the game and freak out.

If there is one weakness in the Avalanche squad it is their goaltending and how inconsistent they can be. To this point, Colorado has been able to outscore the problem. As the trade deadline approaches they might need to consider exploring the goalie market for a new starter.
