Alexander Romanov's turn to comply with Lou Lamoriello's demands
Alexander Romanov was surprisingly traded by the Habs for the 13th overall pick in the 2022 draft. The Russian defenseman is now a member of the New York Islanders.
Who says Islanders, says Lou Lamoriello. Alexander Romanov is a good looking young man, but it looks like that wasn't enough for the good Lou. Indeed, the wife of the defenseman published a story where we see Romanov, short hair and freshly made beard.
This is just a guess, as we don't have confirmation that he actually did this to comply with Lamoriello's demands. However, knowing that low numbers, short hair and a shaved beard are obligations with the general manager, we can suspect that it came from him.
