The best player still available on the market, Sonny Milano, has reportedly signed a professional trial contract

Sonny Milano, 26, was still looking for a contract for the upcoming season. The author of 34 points in 66 games with the Ducks last year would sign a professional tryout contract (PTO) with the Calgary Flames.

Milano would be a steal for the Flames' GM, as he would add a lot of depth to the team. Needless to say, the loss of Johnny Gaudreau has not been addressed and Matthew Tkachuk was traded for Jonathan Huberdeau.

Sonny Milano won't be replacing Gaudreau, but he will add some nice depth to the Flames' forward line, if he works out with the team after training camp.
