According to reports, Winnipeg Jets top prospect and NHL hopeful Brad Lambert suffered an injury in the team's first pre-season game.

The Winnipeg Jets took the ice last night against the Minnesota Wild and many of the team's best up and coming young players were in the lineup.
This lineup included Brad Lambert who to this point in his career has been great in the AHL but struggled to break through in the NHL.
Unfortunately, Lambert's season has gotten off to a tough start after suffering a head injury against the Wild.

Brad Lambert Forced Out of Pre-Season Game Due to Head Injury

First, Lambert was seen limping off of the ice during overtime of last night's game and did not return.
Another report indicated that Lambert was removed by the concussion spotter and that's why he missed the end of the game.
After the game, Scott Arniel spoke to the media and confirmed Lambert was pulled by the concussion spotter and was continuing to be evaluated for a head injury.
If Lambert does in fact have a concussion that significantly cuts down on the amount of pre-season games he will have to cut out a role in the top-six for himself.
Hopefully, Lambert's injury is not as significant as it might currently sound and he's back to game action soon.
As the Jets provide more updates on Lambert's status going forward we will pass along all of the latest news.
