Winnipeg Jets See Progress from Injured Players During Optional Skate Ahead of Game vs. Utah
The Winnipeg Jets look to be on the verge of getting several players back from injury after a great practice session today.
Yesterday, Winnipeg Jets head coach Scott Arniel spoke to the media and refused to put a timeline on captain Adam Lowry's return to the lineup.
He admitted that Lowry would have to shed his non-contact jersey to even begin considering having him in the lineup.
During this afternoon's optional skate, Lowry did in fact wear a normal jersey and was a full participant in practice along with positive updates on Cole Perfetti and Dylan Samberg as well.
Winnipeg Jets Receive Positive Injury Update on Multiple Key Players
During practice, Lowry was back in a regular jersey along with Perfetti and Samberg who were back on the ice for the first time in non-contact jerseys.
With their return to practice, it seems likely that all three players will be back on the ice within the next few games with Lowry returning before Perfetti and Samberg.
This goes along with Scott Arniel's most recent timeline with Lowry back in the next couple of weeks while Perfetti and Samberg will be at least mid-November before returning.
Without this trio, the Jets remain one of the best teams in the Western Conference inspiring confidence that once all of them return the Jets could take off and become the best team in the Western Conference once again this season.
