Throughout the entire summer, there are good days and bad days. In the moment, I just tried to focus on the hockey and get through the two-and-a-half hours of playing and playing with my brothers. It definitely hasn't been the easiest of summers, especially for my mom and a lot of my family. As for what is ahead this season, Scheifele admits he is excited to get back on the ice with his teammates and have a distraction from such a difficult time.
