Ville Heinola has shown his potential for the future in Winnipeg, but after being waived and going unclaimed, he's revealed his frustration over the whole situation. The Winnipeg Jets selected Ville Heinola back in 2019 with their No. 20 overall pick, and to this point in his career, he's yet to solidify himself as a full-time NHLer with the organization. At 24-years of age, there's still time for Heinola to grind his way into an NHL role full-time, but with just 12 points in his 53 career NHL games to this point, it's easy to see why the Jets want to see more before they give him that opportunity, with the organization clearly intent on chasing the Stanley Cup in 2025/26.
