Jets defenseman Logan Stanley handed suspension after altercation with Brady Tkachuk

The National Hockey League Department of Player Safety has given Winnipeg Jets defenseman Logan Stanley a suspension for his actions against Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk in last night's game.
During last night's game between the Winnipeg Jets and Ottawa Senators, Jets defenseman Logan Stanley got tangled up with Senators captain Brady Tkachuk near the Ottawa bench, and tried to goad him into a fight.
But Tkachuk would not engage, so Stanley responded with a clear sucker punch to Tkachuk's face. Even so, Tkachuk was the one who got a 10-minute misconduct, and Stanley only got two minor penalties.
But the NHL Department of Player Safety announced that Stanley would have a hearing because of his actions, and they've arrived at their decision. The DPS has officially suspended Stanley for one game:

Stanley will miss Winnipeg's game on Tuesday against the Vegas Golden Knights, and he can return on Thursday against the Edmonton Oilers.
Senators Coach Travis Green Blasted The Referees After The Game
Senators head coach Travis Green was angry over what Stanley did and said he felt the Jets wouldn't like if one of Ottawa's players did that to a skilled player like Kyle Connor.
If the refs had to do it again and call it again, they'd probably make a different call. You never like to see a guy get suckered in the face. It's unfortunate. We're lucky he came back. He's an All-Star player. I'm sure their team wouldn't be happy if (Kyle) Connor got suckered in the face and there was just a two-minute minor for roughing. - Travis Green
