Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck was back out today for the team's skate after partaking in a full one yesterday, which is very good news for the team.

Injured Winnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck took part in yesterday's practice, his first with the full team since returning to the ice.
Hellebuyck is coming off arthroscopic knee surgery on Nov. 22, and it has now been two and a half weeks since the procedure.

What was seen at Jets morning skate today

Today at Jets morning skate, he was back out there after a full skate yesterday, which is a great sign for the team as they look to stabilize their goaltending.
Head coach Scott Arniel said he's still unsure when Hellebuyck will return to the lineup. The initial recovery timeline was four to six weeks, but Wednesday's practice and Thursday's return showed progress in his rehab.
"He's getting closer," said Arniel. "Obviously workload goes up. He was also on the ice about an hour before. Not an hour, like 45 minutes before. Workload is going up so probably see a lot more of that.

"He's feeling really good. Two things - what happens after a big day like today and how he feels when he wakes up in the morning and then the other side is conditioning."

Why Connor Hellebuyck's absence has really hurt the Jets

His absence has been felt on the ice, as the Jets have managed just a 2-7-1 record without him.
Winnipeg will need him to return in top form, as the team hosts the Boston Bruins on Thursday to continue its homestand.
The Jets have struggled to find consistency in goal, and having Hellebuyck closer to full health could be a turning point in their season.
Monitoring his progress over the next few days will be key for Arniel and the coaching staff as they finalize plans for the upcoming matchup.
