The Vezina Trophy is awarded every year to the goaltender adjudged to be the best at his position.

Loading from Twitter ...

He's accompanied by Andrei Vasilevskiy of the Tampa Bay Lightning and Darcy Kuemper of the Los Angeles Kings. Hellebuyck, the Vezina winner in 2020 and last season, may have played the best he has to this point.
Hellebuyck had a career-high 47 wins with the Jets this season
He posted a career-high 47 victories, just the fifth goaltender in NHL history to achieve the mark, and led the league with a 2.00 goals-against average and eight shutouts in 63 appearances. His .925 save percentage ranked second in the NHL. Vasilevskiy, the Vezina winner in 2019, is a finalist for the fifth time. He rebounded from a poor year in 2024 with a .921 save percentage, six shutouts, and 63 starts for the Lightning. Kuemper, meanwhile, revived his career in Los Angeles after being dealt there in the off-season. He posted 31 wins, a 2.02 goals-against average, a .921 save percentage, and five shutouts in 50 starts to earn his first career nomination. Jets fans are hoping that Hellebuyck will be able to turn his play around, as he has struggled over his last two starts against the Blues, being pulled and replaced by backup Eric Comrie.
