A goaltender interference call against Joe Pavelski in Golden Knights Vs. Stars' game 5 causes a big stir.

After Jon Cooper, the Tampa Bay Lightning's head coach, went after the NHL and its video reviews system for overturning two goals scored in game five between the Lightning and the Panthers a few days ago, the NHL is once again facing backlash for a goalie interference call on Joe Pavelski.

If you missed it, here are the goals that weren't allowed to the Lightning:

After the game, Cooper made a controversial sexist statement, saying the goalies were too much protected by the League and that they should "wear skirts".

Two days later, bad calls for goalie interference made another victim: Joe Pavelski.

He was sent to the penalty box for entering in a collision with Adin Hill. However, in the video, we can clearly see that he couldn't avoid the hit because of Alec Martinez, the Golden Knights' defenseman, pushing him towards the goalie.

Watch the incident here:

Considering that the NHL disallowed two goals for goalie interference earlier this week, penalizing Pavelski for the hit makes sense. It's consistent with what we've seen in the playoffs. Unfortunately, for many fans, it should've been the opposite rulings.

Do you think the referee made the right call on Joe Pavelski's goalie interference?
