This afternoon the Vancouver Canucks have been connected to free agent Jack Roslovic once again after he recently fired his agent. As NHL training camp begins, many of the best free agents from this past offseason are off of the board. However, one very enticing name remains in Jack Roslovic who is coming off of a season where he tallied over 20 goals for the second time in his NHL career. At various points throughout the offseason the Canucks have been linked to Roslovic but it hasn't worked out for various reasons.

Loading from Twitter ...

Now, the Canucks have reportedly circled back on Roslovic after he recently made a surprising agent change as he looks to get signed for this season.
Vancouver Canucks Linked To Jack Roslovic After Surprising Agent Change
Earlier this month, Roslovic reportedly fired his agent and hired Justin Duberman to handle negotiations going forward. I do believe there was an offer from the Edmonton Oilers at some point, but Roslovic, 28, turned it down. He has since switched agents. He's now with Justin Duberman. Since this change was made, NHL insider Chris Johnston believes the Canucks could be one of the teams to circle back on Roslovic heading into the season.

Loading from Twitter ...

Roslovic is not a game breaking player but a good one and could provide major insurance behind Filip Chytil as a third line center who could step up if Chytil once again deals with injury issues. Now, it will be up to Patrik Allvin and Jim Rutherford to decide if Roslovic is worth paying a good chunk of change to without knowing how he fits in with the team and not a lot of time to get assimilated in the locker room.
