Tonight, Quinn Hughes addressed Jim Rutherford's comments about his future with the Vancouver Canucks.

Earlier today, Quinn Hughes spoke to the media and addressed comments made by his brother Jack Hughes about the brothers desire to play together.
Now, Quinn has responded to the original comments from Jim Rutherford that set off this whole conversation about his future.
Rutherford, earlier this summer, revealed that he was concerned about Quinn leaving the Canucks once his contract ends to join his brothers.
This comment set the internet ablaze with speculation and now Quinn Hughes directly addressed the Canucks President of Hockey Operations.

Quinn Hughes Throws Shade At Jim Rutherford In New Interview

During a recent interview, Hughes was asked about the comments made by Rutherford.
In his response, Hughes confirmed he has respect for Rutherford and trusts him to do what's best for the team.
This response while respectful does seem to throw a subtle shot at Rutherford for causing the media storm he has to this point.
Last season, the Canucks notably dealt with a lot of drama that seemed to derail team success on the ice but hopefully that will not be the case this season with Quinn Hughes.
