This evening a new segment with former Vancouver Canucks head coach Bruce Boudreau is turning heads for his comments on Brock Boeser.

As the offseason approaches, speculation continues to build regarding the future of Brock Boeser.
Boeser is, of course, on an expiring contract and expected to be a free agent when July 1st rolls around.
With the Vancouver Canucks expected to allow Boeser to test the market and sign elsewhere several pundits have given their perspective of where he will sign.
Now, his former head coach Bruce Boudreau, has added his opinion to the conversation of Boeser's future.

Bruce Boudreau Predicts Where Brock Boeser Will Sign In Free Agency

During a segment on TSN, Boudreau was asked to predict the new homes of several free agents including Brock Boeser.
While most of the predictions were pure speculation from Boudreau his perspective on Boeser was grounded in fact and previous interactions with the Canucks forward.
When asked about Boeser the former Canucks bench boss revealed that he believe Boeser will want to return home to Minnesota and sign with the Wild.
I think he's a really good player. He loves his home state of Minnesota. He lives in the Minneapolis area. He's wanted to go back there.

Then Boudreau goes on to discuss the fit from the Minnesota Wild's perspective and believes that the Wild should be eager to land Boeser.
I think not only do the Wild have the money to spend. They also need a second line scorer behind Kaprizov. I think he'd be a great fit in Minnesota.

While Boeser has yet to play in Minnesota since becoming a high-level hockey player, the last time he was given a choice where to play, he chose to attend North Dakota during his time in the NCAA which of course borders Minnesota.
While it remains a mystery where Boeser will sign this valuable insight from Boudreau at least provides as a starting point.
With free agency just over a month away the speculation will continue to build surrounding Boeser but as July 1st comes closer look out for the Wild to be a main contender for his services.
