Frank Seravalli on Sportsnet 960's Big Show says Bruins are sniffing Conor Garland, Brock Boeser, and maybe Elias Pettersson for the Kings.

This is still rumor talk, not a done deal, but the names fit the noise and the timing. Friday's NHL Trade Deadline is March 6, 2026.
James Murphy's reporting says Boston has been tracking Vancouver closely again, with Garland sounding more "gettable" than Boeser.
That tracks with contracts too, because Boeser is on a big long-term number, and the bidding would be ugly.
Garland is the cleaner fit if you want a motor in your top-six without detonating your cap sheet.
Re Kings: "They're in desperate need of a center, if they could pry loose Elias Pettersson at a price that they feel is reasonable, that's a move I could see them making."

- Frank Seravalli
On the ice, the Canucks' big guns have had a rough 2025-26 rhythm: Elias Pettersson sits at 13-22-35, Brock Boeser at 12-14-26, and Conor Garland at 7-19-26.
If Vancouver is truly leaning into a rebuild, those lines start reading like a storefront window.

Conor Garland could jolt the Boston Bruins

Bruins fans are tired of "almost" at the deadline, and this feels like the kind of move you either love instantly or regret for two springs.
Garland plays frantic in a good way, and Boston's forecheck lives on that energy.
Boeser is the bigger name, but the cap hit turns it into a puzzle with missing pieces.
Then there's the wild card: Los Angeles poking around Pettersson because they need a center badly, especially with injuries biting.
If the Kings push hard, it can change Vancouver's leverage with everyone, including the Bruins.
This week is going to tell us if Boston is hunting a finisher, a pest, or a true middle-of-the-ice game breaker.
