Canucks reportedly looking to move on from Brock Boeser just months after re-signing him long term

Tonight, new reports have confirmed that the Vancouver Canucks are looking to spark their rebuild by potentially trading away Brock Boeser.
Earlier this season, the Vancouver Canucks committed to a full blown rebuild after trading away captain Quinn Hughes to the Minnesota Wild.
Since then, the Canucks led by Jim Rutherford and Patrik Allvin have continued talks of trading away veteran players.
Yesterday, reports had indicated the team was on the verge of moving veteran defenseman Tyler Myers to a new home.
Now, insiders have suggested that the Canucks will be looking to trade Brock Boeser despite recently signing him long-term.
Canucks looking to move on from Brock Boeser despite recent extension
In a new version of Insider Trading, insider Darren Dreger revealed that the Canucks are heavily considering trading Brock Boeser.
Despite having a no-move clause Boeser is willing to be sent to a new home if the fit is right.
Dreger on Insider Trading says Brock Boeser's name is out there as well, he is willing to move if there is a fit that makes sense. He just signed a 7-yr deal with Vancouver.
Boeser, 29, has struggled under new head coach Adam Foote's system only tallying 26 points in 51 games so far which is by far a low metric in recent seasons for the veteran.
If the Canucks intend to keep Foote, a change of scenery could make the most sense for both sides as Boeser looks to get back to a contending team.
