NHL insider Rick Dhaliwal revealed the Canucks continue to have talks with UFA forward Jack Roslovic, after David Pagnotta stated they want to still do more. The NHL off-season continues as league-wide rosters look towards roster-filling additions. With free agents becoming rarer by the day, there will likely be trades through the summer into the next September training camp. One team still in search of making a trade or signing a player is the Vancouver Canucks. Insider reporting from David Pagnotta and Rick Dhaliwal reveals Vancouver still has their sights set on finding depth at the center position. They want to do more; they still want to add a top six guy. - David Pagnotta

Loading from Twitter ...

Since the trade of Dakota Joshua to the Maple Leafs and the release of $3.25 million in cap space for the 2025-26 season, the Canucks do have some wiggle room. Whether the next piece arrives via free agency or trade remains to be seen.
The Canucks are still very interested and actively talking to Jack Roslovic
The most recently connected name is that of Jack Roslovic, who had a career-best in scoring last season.

Loading from Twitter ...

But if Jack Roslovic's price proves too costly, the Canucks would look at a smaller-ticket guy. Last week, in an article about the Canucks, Stephan Roget from 'Canucks Army' noted Luke Kunin as someone who could be targeted. A former first-rounder himself, Luke Kunin has suited up in 434 NHL games for Minnesota, Nashville, San Jose, and Columbus. He scored 11 goals and 18 points in 63 games in San Jose before he was shipped out to Columbus, where he was scoreless in 12 games. The Canucks could strongly go after the 27-year-old; he should be within the team's range in salary, hovering just above $1 million on a one-year deal.
