Today, in a new post on social media, the Buffalo Sabres decided to troll the Vancouver Canucks and defenseman Quinn Hughes. The NHL began to tease the roll out the 2025-26 schedule which is coming Wednesday for every single team in the NHL. In the build up to the schedule release the NHL released a few key matchups on opening night early before the full show on Wednesday.

Loading from Twitter ...

Loading from Twitter ...

With less than 24 hours until the schedule release the Buffalo Sabres took to X to troll several of their opponents for next season including the Vancouver Canucks
Buffalo Sabres Troll The Vancouver Canucks Taking A Shot At Quinn Hughes
In the post on X, the Sabres used chicken wings to represent several teams on their schedule for the upcoming season. When it came to the Canucks the Sabres social team depicted two chicken wings together with a third chicken wing in Canucks colors across the plate. At the top of the photo was the phrase 'Brother Where Art Thou'

Loading from Twitter ...

This is a clear shot at Quinn Hughes and the Vancouver Canucks regarding Quinn being separated from his brothers in New Jersey. Of course over the last several months reports have picked up regarding Quinn's desire to join his brothers in New Jersey. This troll from the Sabres while clever could hit too close to home for some Canucks fans concerned about Quinn leaving. With the full schedule release tomorrow it will be interesting to see if the Canucks have a comeback in store for the Sabres themselves as they announce their schedule.
