Disturbing video involving Leafs Craig Berube sends fans into a frenzy
Today a new video has resurfaced covering a disturbing incident involving Craig Berube during his playing days in the NHL with the Washington Capitals.
Over the past several weeks new Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube has been commended for his fiery old-school style. Today a video posted on social media showed that Craig Berube can have a more sinister side to him as well.
The video shows news coverage from a situation where Craig Berube was suspended for using a racial slur against a player from the Florida Panther named Peter Worrell.
Craig Berube of the Washington Capitals was suspended for one game without pay on Tuesday for calling Florida's Peter Worrell, who is black, a monkey during an on-ice scuffle on Sunday.
In a time where other coaches such as former Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Mike Babcock are being fired for their conduct in dealing with players this could become problematic.
Now of course this was a long time ago and the Maple Leafs could choose to ignore the incident. However, in more recent times Craig Berube ignored racist remarks and threats made toward former Toronto Maple Leaf Nazem Kadri during his time with the Colorado Avalanche.
Craig Berube had an opportunity to denounce some really disgusting behavior by his fan base and he goes with «I've got no comment on that stuff.»

While no action will likely come from these things being discovered it will be interesting to see if Craig Berube faces any questions regarding these incidents once he speaks as the head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
