The Boston Bruins, known for their veteran lineup, are likely to experience big changes this offseason following their playoff loss to the Florida Panthers.

With 11 players expected to become free agents, the Bruins are already strategizing who will stay and who will go. Rumors suggest that Kevin Shattenkirk, Linus Ullmark, and Pat Maroon are the most likely to leave.

Linus Ullmark's uncertain future

Linus Ullmark, who has one season left on his contract with a no-movement clause, rejected a trade at the deadline last year. He commented on his no-trade clause:
I asked Ullmark about his no-trade and if he would exercise it this summer. Said the teams that are on his list are on there for a reason, and he doesn't want to disclose reasons why. Says it's between himself, his family, and agent.

Despite starting only one playoff game and Jeremy Swayman emerging as the starter, Ullmark might consider a trade if the right opportunity arises.

Kevin Shattenkirk's uncertain path

Kevin Shattenkirk, an unrestricted free agent, had a decent season with the Bruins. At 35 years old, his market value might lead to an extension, though retirement rumors are circulating:
This is probably Kevin Shattenkirk's last season..man, what a hockey life...NCAA Champion, Stanley Cup Champion, respect of peers.

Pat Maroon's potential return

Pat Maroon, who signed a one-year deal with the Bruins, struggled after offseason back surgery. He expressed a desire to return:
Pat Maroon wants to re-sign with #NHLBruins. Would you give him the Lucic deal from last year? 1 year, $1 million base and cap hit with incentives to get to $1.5 mil? #GetBent

His playoff experience and leadership are valuable, but the Bruins may opt for younger talent.
These players have been key leaders for the Bruins, but the team's lack of success could lead to a shift towards more talent and consistency on the ice this offseason.
