J.T. Miller gave Mike Sullivan the headline after New York's blown third-period draw fed Cole Caufield's winner and left the Rangers boiling.
Arpon Basu called the sequence brutal, Caufield is sitting on 49 goals, and Montreal is 44-21-10 after the 3-2 result.
Then Miller slammed the door. The clip is here:
"I don't want to talk about it."

That's why this lands bigger than one bad draw. When a veteran center refuses the opening after a one-goal loss, the room is still chewing on the details.
Sullivan's Rangers don't need another morality debate over faceoff procedure. They need a cleaner response off lost structure in their own zone.
Caufield is the wrong shooter to gift a broken sequence. At 49, he's living off fast release, inside ice, and one touch too many from defenders who hesitate.
The real issue for New York is bench trust. Late in a tie game, that draw should have been dead and buried before Montreal ever turned it north.
Why Mike Sullivan has to treat this as a warning
This is where the story shifts from outrage to structure. Sullivan has to decide whether Miller gets that same matchup next time or whether another center handles the next high-leverage defensive-zone faceoff.
Because this wasn't just a bad bounce. It became a chain reaction: frustration, confusion, loose coverage, then the puck behind New York.
Montreal under Martin St-Louis is too quick to give free second chances, especially with Caufield finishing like this.
Miller's quote wasn't just shutdown mode. It sounded like a player who knew the Rangers lost more than a draw.
