Oilers feed Skinner to Wolves ahead of playoffs

In last nights Edmonton Oilers game, it was all about giving the big-name players a breather before the playoffs. We saw the B team hit the ice, but what caught everyone off guard was Stuart Skinner getting the start in goal.

Sure, Calvin Pickard saw action last night against the now inactive Arizona Coyotes, but many would have preferred to see him between the pipes again, even on short rest, rather than risking Skinner right before the playoffs.
