NHL insider Darren Dreger revealed that the Oilers are likely to start making moves if things do not turn around within the next 10 to 14 days.

Jack Roslovic scored twice, Evan Bouchard piled up three assists, and the Edmonton Oilers beat the Florida Panthers 6-3 on Saturday in a rematch of the last two Stanley Cup Finals.
Connor McDavid and Matt Savoie added empty-net goals, while Mattias Ekholm and Vasily Podkolzin also scored in Edmonton's return to Sunrise, their first visit since watching the Panthers celebrate a second straight Cup title in June.

What Stuart Skinner's sharp play helped the Oilers accomplish

Stuart Skinner was sharp with 35 saves, helping the Oilers snap a three-game winless skid and close their seven-game road trip at 3-3-1.
It was just their second regulation road win of the season, a welcome shift for a team that came into the night 4-8-3 away from home.
Florida, without a long list of regulars including Aleksander Barkov, Matthew Tkachuk and Dmitry Kulikov, received goals from Mackie Samoskevich, Sam Reinhart and Anton Lundell.
Sergei Bobrovsky was pulled in the second period after giving up four goals on 17 shots, with Podkolzin's sharp-angle marker ending his night.
Roslovic opened the scoring just 25 seconds in, burying a harmless-looking puck that slipped through Bobrovsky. After Lundell tied it, Roslovic answered 36 seconds later to restore the lead for good.

Why this win was very important for the Oilers

This win comes at an important time. Recently, NHL insider Darren Dreger reported that Edmonton is likely to start making moves if results don't turn around within the next 10-14 days, as patience is definitely wearing thin.
"Patience is wearing thin in Edmonton but I'd still give them another 10 days to two weeks to really assess."

Beating Florida is a positive first step, but the Oilers still have much to prove before management feels comfortable standing pat.
Up next for Edmonton, they return home to host the Dallas Stars on Tuesday, so management will be keeping a close eye on that match as well.
