Unfortunately for Swayman and the Bruins, he would struggle in the first year after signing that deal, posting a 3.11 GAA and an .892 save percentage on the season, once again raising questions over his future. This time, the Oilers can't miss out if he ever becomes available, but if they had their chances over, Edmonton would likely look to be more aggressive, as this inactivity may have been the thing that cost them a Stanley Cup.
