Adam Lowry underwent surgery after the Winnipeg Jets 2024/25 season ended, but now the team have announced some great news ahead of training camp.

The 2024/25 regular season was a good one for the Winnipeg Jets, and with everything going right for the team, they had the Vezina and Hart Trophy winner while clinching the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference.
Unfortunately, the Stanley Cup Playoffs weren't as friendly to them, as they overcame the St. Louis Blues in dramatic and iconic fashion, but their success ended there, as they enter 2025/26 looking to take it another step further.

Captain Adam Lowry shows promise in return from injury

One key storyline of the Jets off-season was the injury to captain Adam Lowry, as he underwent surgery that was expected to keep him out anywhere from five to six months.
Many believe that means he will miss the start of the regular season, but in the latest update from the Jets, there has been optimism as the social media team has posted Lowry in his recent return to the ice ahead of Jets training camp.
While this is definitely a major positive, it doesn't mean that Lowry will be back at 100% before the regular season begins, but it's simply one major step in his road to recovery and his return to the team after spending all off-season rehabbing.
Last year, Lowry tallied 16 goals and 34 points in 73 games played for the Jets, and if he can get back to that production level while bringing balance and leadership to this lineup, there's going to be confidence in this squad once more as they look to finally go on a deep Stanley Cup run in 2026.
