The analyst compares Podkolzin to a younger version of Zach Hyman and in some ways even ahead of where Hyman was at the same age. This has sparked major belief that the chance for major improvement is more likely for Podkolzin in the coming seasons. But Podkolzin is just coming off his age 23 season. Zach Hyman in his age 23 season played 16 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs. While the duo does believe Podkolzin could be an x-factor for the Oilers this season reaching the lofty peak of Hyman is still of course unlikely. Listen not everyone's going to be able to do what Zach Hyman did and be like a true late bloomer.
