A newly-released report indicates which player the Edmonton Oilers, who have already traded Evander Kane to the Vancouver Canucks and Viktor Arvidsson to the Boston Bruins, could move on from next.

There have already been several changes to the roster of the Edmonton Oilers in the wake of their 2nd straight loss in the Stanley Cup Final to the Florida Panthers.
They've lost 40 year-old veteran Corey Perry to the divisional foe Los Angeles Kings in free agency, while also trading Evander Kane to the Vancouver Canucks and Viktor Arvidsson to the Boston Bruins.
Meanwhile; they've also signed forwards Andrew Mangianpane and Curtis Lazar.
What are the chances that they are also now looking to move on from forward Mattias Janmark?

New Report Reveals Which Forward The Oilers Could Look To Trade Next

Oilers Now host Bob Stauffer recently opined that the Oilers are going to try and attempt to shed salary cap
The Oilers, I think, are gonna try to find a way to have a little bit of cap space from the opening day of the season. Right now, they got about $150,000, and I'm thinking they're gonna try to find a way to get in the $1.5 to $2 million range, and if they can do that, then it accrues during the course of the year and multiply it basically by four (at the time of the trade deadline), and away you go.

Oilers Nation co-host Liam Horrobin speculated that it could be Mattias Janmark on the move, and that it would purely be over salary and not his level of play.
I said right before the show that the Oilers should move on from Mattias Janmark for one reason, and not because he's bad, but because he makes $1.4 million.
Janmark has 2 more years on his current contract with an AAV (average annual value) of $1.45 million.
He had 18 points (2G, 16A) in 80 games this year for the Oilers, with another 3 goals in 22 postseason games.
