Leon Draisaitl leaves game vs. Predators due to injury after questionable hit

Tonight, Edmonton Oilers superstar Leon Draisaitl has been forced out of the team's game against the Predators due to a mysterious injury.
The Edmonton Oilers traveled to Nashville tonight to take on the Predators as they continue their march towards the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Midway through the first period, Leon Draisaitl took an awkward hit from Predators forward Ozzy Wiesblatt.
Initially, Draisaitl left the game for the locker room but returned to end the period and was on the bench providing hope to many that he would be back in action in the second period.
However, Draisaitl stayed on the bench until the intermission and then did not return to the bench as hit teammates came out on to the ice for the second period.

As the second period began, multiple reports confirmed that Draisaitl had not emerged from the locker room seemingly ending his night.
Looks like no Draisaitl on the bench here in the 2nd.
This season, like many other seasons, the Edmonton Oilers have relied heavily on Draisaitl and Connor McDavid to carry them to wins and to the playoffs.
If Draisaitl is out long-term, the Oilers could be in serious danger of a first round exit unless Connor McDavid can find multiple higher levels to his game.
