Leon Draisaitl blasted the Edmonton Oilers coaches after a Calgary Flames loss, and the room suddenly feels shaky.

Edmonton fell 4-3 in Calgary on Wednesday, and it capped a three-game skid heading into the Olympic break.
Draisaitl didn’t tap the glass, he put his palm through it.
“We’re not consistent enough,” he said, then went straight to, “It starts with the coaches.”

That’s the part that lingers, because stars usually keep that stuff in the room.
On the ice, Draisaitl did his job anyway, two power-play goals, five shots, and 25:27 of ice time.
Connor McDavid logged 26:30, and you could feel the bench tightening with every shift.
It also wasn’t subtle why Draisaitl sounded fed up, the Oilers keep chasing games instead of owning starts.

Leon Draisaitl forces the Edmonton Oilers to look inward

Oilers fans are tired of hearing “reset” when the same cracks keep showing up.
The team is still sitting second in the Pacific, but the margin is thin and the vibe feels worse than the standings.
When your leaders are playing half the night, depth guys start gripping the stick because their role disappears.
That’s coaching, but it’s also players losing structure and giving up too many clean looks.
Tristan Jarry owned his share, but Draisaitl also made it clear the group in front has to make life easier.
Now the three-week pause becomes a pressure cooker, because there’s time to stew, not just time to heal.
Edmonton returns February 25 in Anaheim, then it’s Los Angeles and San Jose right away.
If the details don’t tighten fast, this quote becomes a storyline that follows them right into the trade deadline.
