The NHL season is just around the corner and the final free agents are considering their options including former Edmonton Oiler Klim Kostin. The NHL offseason is at a particular low point between free agency slowing down and the beginning of NHL training camp. Even still, several quality players remain free agents and could look to sign before the beginning of training camp. One of those players is Klim Kostin who most recently played for the San Jose Sharks but spent the 2022-23 season with the Edmonton Oilers. According to reports, Kostin is currently considering several contract offers from NHL and KHL clubs.
Former Oiler Klim Kostin Expected To Sign A New Contract Soon
A new report from Jesse Courville-Lynch has confirmed that Kostin and his agents are in the process of considering several offers from NHL and KHL teams.

Loading from Twitter ...

Throughout the offseason Kostin has been one of the players who has been connected to the Edmonton Oilers the most. His impressive size and physical style of play would be a great fit in the bottom-six of the Edmonton Oilers lineup and he is beloved by fans for his previous stint in Edmonton.

Loading from Twitter ...

Loading from Twitter ...

Kostin would be a great candidate to return to Edmonton as he was most successful in his NHL career as an Oiler. In 57 games he tallied 21 points during his time with the Oilers and at just 26 years old if he sticks with Edmonton head coach Kris Knoblauch could potentially unlock new levels of Kostin's game. With NHL training camp just around the corner, Kostin will likely sign in the coming days and as he makes his decision we will provide all of the latest updates.
