Noah Philp has been recalled by the Edmonton Oilers from the minor league Condors today. Now aged 26, he has the tools in the toolbox and is seeing his offence come more easily this year than his previous season in the AHL. That has earned him a call-up to the NHL, where the Oilers hope he can help the team earn a victory in their next outing after their loss to the Ducks last night. In his rookie pro season with the Bakersfield Condors, he scored 19 goals and 37 points in 70 games during the 2022-23 season before stepping away from the sport entirely last year. This year, he's played in 52 games in the AHL, already scoring 15 goals and 30 points, which is a nice jump in his per-game point production.
