Coyotes fans make request to Oilers ahead of franchise finale.
Edmonton Oilers fans, have received a heartfelt request from the Arizona Coyotes faithful. With the franchise finale against the fans are gearing up for an emotional farewell to the desert. After Wednesday's game, they're packing up and relocating to Salt Lake City, Utah.
A Coyotes fan reached out to Oilers supporters on Reddit, asking them to join in a whiteout at the game. The ask is for Edmonton fans to wear their white Oilers jerseys or gear to create a sea of white in the stands. It's a small gesture, but it'll mean everything to Coyotes fans saying goodbye to their team in Arizona.Plea to visiting Oilers fans in Arizona on Wednesday - Wear White if Possible. We are attempting to organize a whiteout, I've been to quite a few Oilers vs Yotes games where we've been outnumbered, so I merely ask if you are able to where a white Oilers jersey or gear you would make us all happy.
