Winnipeg Jets goalie made it clear he doesn't like the inconsistency of goaltender interference calls in the NHL after Team USA's 5-1 win over Team Lativa on Thursday in Italy.

Even though Team USA won 5-1 over Latvia today, there were a few controversial moments that had them feeling frustrated early on.
They had two goals that were waived off, including one for an alleged goaltender interference.
Replays showed that JT Miller had backed up into Latvia goalie Elvis Merzlikins, but that his skates were outside of the crease when a shot from Brock Nelson went into the net.
We've seen all kinds of examples throughout the NHL over the last several years of nothing but complete inconsistency when it comes to goalie interference calls, and USA goalie Connor Hellebuyck made sure to call it out.
Well, they’re different every year in the NHL, too. So, who knows? - Connor Hellebuyck
Brock Nelson made up for the questionable call by scoring twice later on in the game. USA also got goals from Auston Matthews, Brady Tkachuk and Tage Thompson.
Hellebuyck made 17 saves.
Players should be more aware of their surroundings around the net, because it looks like goalie interference will be called extra tight in the Olympics.

Connor Hellebuyck Was Chosen For Team USA In Goal

Thought of as one of the top goalies in the NHL, Hellebuyck was chosen to play for Team USA just like he was last year at the 4 Nations Faceoff.
Because it's the first time since NHL players have been in the Olympics since 2014, before Hellebuyck's NHL career started, it's his first time in the Olympics.
Along with Hellebuyck, Team USA chose Dallas Stars goalie Jake Oettinger (who Hellebuyck and the Jets lost to in last year's Western Conference Semifinal) and Boston Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman.
