Underrated Canadiens prospect opens many eyes in Laval right now with 4 goals in 4 games

Head coach Jean-François Houle expressed his satisfaction with the arrival of Emil Heineman in Laval. In an interview with Martin Lemay of BPM Sports, he said that Heineman was one of the best players at the last rookie camp, that he was fast with good puck protection, and that he had a high potential with a lot of room for improvement.

Here is the clip.

Heineman is not as popular as other young players, perhaps because he was not drafted by the Canadiens and started his career in Europe, making it difficult for fans to follow his progress.

However, if he continues to develop, he could become a good top 9 forward in the NHL, even playing on the power play. The head coach is optimistic about his skills, but it remains to be seen if he will be able to continue to progress.

Heineman has 15 points in 35 games in Europe this season. Since arriving in Laval, he has scored four times in four short games. He also scored twice last night.

Heineman had never played in North America in an official game before this year. Let's just say he's off to a great start.
