The Canadiens already have the 5th pick in the next NHL draft, but they could improve their lot by moving up one spot.

The Sharks are willing to make a trade, as reported by The Athletic, and if Kent Hughes' coveted player is ever available at #4, it could prompt the GM to move up to claim him.
A specialized firm has made a point system to evaluate the value of a draft pick in numbers. A colossal job, well done. For the 4th overall pick, the Tricolore would have to pay for the 5th overall pick, plus a 2nd-round pick.
