It was a big night for young forward Sean Farrell, who just graduated to the pros, as he signed his entry-level contract with the Habs last Sunday.

Fresh out of Harvard University, the new number 57 jumped into the fray against the Philadelphia Flyers in front of his family and friends, without even having practiced a single second with his new team.
Let's just say that it was a baptism of fire for the latter, who didn't even have time to get familiar with his teammates.
In the end, he played 13 minutes on the second line, showing some good flashes, but he certainly didn't show all his talent. The 21-year-old was understandably nervous.
However, what really caught the eye during the intermission between the second and third periods were the comments of analyst Dany Dubé on 98.5 FM.
He made a very lame comparison to Farrell that clearly shows that he never saw a game of Farrell's before last night's game when he was making his first NHL start.
According to him, the Hobey-Baker Trophy finalist skates like Cliff Ronning, or for the younger fans, Charles Hudon.
"He's not very effective in puck pursuit," Dubé believes, due to a lack of speed.

On the other hand, he mentions that he is creative.
Nevertheless, this is a completely wrong analysis, especially since he bases such a highly unjustified comparison on only two periods of play. Farrell has excellent mobility, and his skating is of National League calibre.
