According to information reported by Max Truman of DansLesCoulisses, Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes would be very interested in signing a Montreal university forward.

According to what he revealed on BPM Sports yesterday, the CH would be one of the three teams in the race to sign Sam Stevens.
For those who are not familiar with the player, Stevens is 22 years old and is a 6 foot 1 inch, 185 pound center. He has 17 points in 38 games this season with Boston University in the NCAA, which is also the team of Lane Hutson and prospect Luke Tuch.
Truman adds that he is a complete center who is very responsible defensively. He could become a nice addition to the Laval Rocket's lineup.
