Johnny Gaudreau could be a good match for Sean Farrell

On the air with Martin Lemay, he mentioned that a comparable for Sean Farrell could be Johnny Gaudreau, according to his contacts. Here is the excerpt:

Obviously, connections are easy to make. Two small, late-round drafted players coming from American colleges. Both also have very good offensive acumen.

Mind you, this doesn't mean that Sean Farrell will become Johnny Gaudreau. That's not what Bob Hartley said. But you can compare their progression and style of play, so far.

For Canadiens fans, that's very encouraging to hear. And Farrell has proven that, despite his small size, he can play against men. He played in the Olympics and the World Championships last year, where he did very well.

Now, will the Tricolore really want a team with Cole Caufield, Brendan Gallagher, Rafael Harvey-Pinard and Sean Farrell all in the same top 9?

That remains to be seen. That would be nearly half of the top 9 that would be small. But they also have other very nice qualities that make up for it.

It will be interesting to watch.
