Gary Bettman is often booed around the NHL, but he has been in office since 1993. You can blame him for his bad moves, but if he's been successful at anything, it's with his last two expansion teams. The Golden Knights and the Kraken are definitely a big success so far.

Many fans in Quebec, specifically Nordiques fans, are hoping that one day a team like the Coyotes will be relocated to their home. However, Bettman seems adamant that the market is not big enough to host an NHL team.

Former goalie, now journalist Kevin Weekes, has an intriguing post about two other possible expansions and unfortunately, Quebec City is not one of them.

According to his sources, Houston and Atlanta could well become the 33rd and 34th teams in the Bettman circuit. It's very strange to want to put a team back in Atlanta, when the Thrashers became the Jets just 12 years ago, in 2011.

Nevertheless, this publication is very intriguing and leads us to believe that Bettman's ambitions will not stop at 32 teams. To be continued...
