Gary Bettman and the Arizona Coyotes make a fool of themselves and getting called our for it

There is one particular situation that is the talk of the NHL right now, and that is the absurd situation of the Arizona Coyotes.

The deal that sent Jakub Voracek's contract to the Coyotes is the talk of the NHL, and not for the right reasons.

Once again, the organization acquired an injured player with the sole purpose of reaching the salary cap.

At the moment, it is nothing less than 57.6% of the payroll that is used, either for retired players or for contracts that other teams wanted to get rid of.

This situation is completely ridiculous, especially since the organization is already the laughing stock of the league for many reasons, including the fact that they are currently playing in an arena with only 5000 spectators.

Proof of the absurdity, there were more than 8000 people at Place Bell yesterday for a game of the Laval Rocket, which plays in the American League.

Speaking of the Coyotes' aberrant situation, former tough guy John Scott, who played for the Coyotes for 11 games during the 2015-2016 campaign, called the Coyotes' organization a complete joke.

Here's the list of contracts that have ended up to die in Arizona, since 2015.

As Laurie Couture -Dallaire mentions, the Coyotes are a veritable contract graveyard of players who can no longer play in the NHL, but don't announce their retirement.

No one seems to understand how Gary Bettman can allow this.

It's pretty embarrassing, but it seems like the NHL is washing its hands of it and continuing to support this franchise, even though the organization is a money pit.

The reflection of journalist Nicolas Cloutier, of TVA Sports, in front of this situation, couldn't be more accurate to explain the problem of Bettman's favoritism for the Coyotes, in this matter.
