Embarrassing photo involving Mike Hoffman goes viral, during game against Avalanche

In fact, journalist Simon-Olivier Lorange of La Presse published a photo that quickly went viral about Hoffman and his teammate Josh Anderson.

As we can see from the photo, the reaction of #68 is downright embarrassing.

Instead of trying to make a defensive play, or at least trying to show that he is at least a little bit involved, Hoffman lets himself slide, making him completely useless on the sequence.

We could add Anderson in the same boat, but he was Hoffman's man to cover in the first place. He could have come in and doubled Hoffman's coverage, sure, but in the end, that wasn't his original assignment.
