Most Montreal Canadiens fans, including myself, breathed a sigh of relief when Jonathan Drouin scored his big goal yesterday against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

After having been the subject of a lot of talk over the weekend, the Quebecer put in a great performance to contribute to his team's victory.
With such a great comeback, the CH number 27 was able to silence the critics in the best possible way.
In fact, during the post-game press conference, Drouin made a strong statement to the media, saying how much he has learned from this story. It shows great maturity on his part, and we respect him even more for having handled the situation in the best possible way, by accepting his punishment like a good veteran.
Despite the fact that he must be really sick of talking and hearing about it, he himself decided to bring up the subject again, to get a very interesting message across:
Jonathan Drouin: "I wanted to have a good game after what happened [Saturday]. Obviously, sitting on the bench watching the game is not fun, but I admit my mistake, it's nobody's fault but mine and I wanted to have a good game tonight..."

He also insisted on answering all possible questions on the subject, to finally put this story behind him for good.
The 27-year-old forward is on a great streak right now, racking up 21 points in his last 25 games. This pace would give him a production of 70 points over a full season. He seems to be in his best physical and mental shape in a long time.
