After the recent addition of two Canadiens prospects to the organization, with the arrival of Emil Heineman and the signing of Jayden Struble, everything indicates that there will be more new blood coming to the Tricolore soon.

In a recent interview, CH general manager Kent Hughes confirmed that he would offer a contract to promising prospect Sean Farrell as soon as his college season is over.
"He's currently still competing for the championship so out of respect for him and Harvard University, I don't want to get too deep into it to allow him to focus on that. However, I can say that as soon as his season is over, I will definitely call him to explore with him what the next steps will be. We would love to have him in Montreal, but he has another year of studies to complete so it will be his choice if he wants to come immediately or not. I will discuss it with him and his agent shortly."

An announcement would therefore be imminent at the Habs, while everything now depends on knowing when the Harvard University season will end.
Recall that Farrell and his team will play their first game in the Frozen Four tournament tomorrow.
Farrell, 21, is a 2020 fourth-round pick. He has recorded 52 points, including 20 goals, in 33 games this season. In fact, he is in the running for the Hobey-Baker Trophy, given to the NCAA's top player.
