He's one of the best goalies in the world, Skinner said. He's impressive. He skates well. Technically, I don't think there's much wrong with him in my perspective. He's exceptional. Skinner then called back to a moment he shared last season with Bobrovsky just after losing the Stanley Cup. Skinner revealed that Bobrovsky was incredibly kind in that difficult moment and earned his respect. I remember in the lineup last year, just how kind he was to somebody who just lost, Skinner said. Nothing but love to him. This is an interesting perspective from Skinner that shows that while these players are competitors they are also peers and friends away from the rink. As the series gets going, it will be interesting to see how the battle between these two competitors shakes out.
