Tonight Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand played his 1000th game in the NHL. As is tradition in the NHL the Bruins held a ceremony to celebrate this. During a tribute video for Marchand, one of his former teammates took a hilarious shot at him.

Marchand Honored For Playing his 1000th Game

Tonight was a huge milestone for Brad Marchand and his family. Marchand played in his 1000th game of his career. The Bruins celebrated the milestone with a nice ceremony where Marchand was gifted a Rolex watch as well as a framed picture to commemorate the accomplishment.

As part of the festivities the Bruins put together a video with messages from people that Marchand crossed paths with in his career. One former teammate Tyler Seguin got a laugh out of Marchand and the crowd for his comments.

Seguin Takes A Hilarious Dig At Marchand On His Special Night

Tyler Seguin played with Brad Marchand early in his career before he was infamously traded to the Dallas Stars. While their time together was short Seguin made sure to get a message to Marchand. In his speech to Marchand, he congratulates him on being one of the best-looking guys in the league despite his physical play style.
"The fact you've done this while being one of the best looking players in the league..." 🤣

Many on social media have taken Seguin's comments to Marchand as a backhanded compliment. Calling out his style of play in a friendly way. Others have felt Seguin must be lying. Either way, it led to a fun silly moment during the proceedings before Marchand took the ice for his big night.
