We have bee reminded all too often this year just how dangerous hockey is. Tonight we got another scare as Lightning defenseman Mikhail Sergachev was stretched off the ice after taking a hit from Alexis Lafrenière. <h2>Sergachev Taken Off Ice On A Stretcher After Scary Hit</h2> The big Russian defenseman was injured on a play along the boards near the corner in his own zone. Sergachev went to make a hit on Rangers forward Alexis Lafrenière but instead he was caught off guard by a reverse hit from the young forward. He looked to be holding his knee. I believe he tried to lay a hit on #NYR Alexis Lafrenière and then went down.
