Jack Hughes Takes a Shot at his Goalies After Major Struggles this Season
Last night, the New Jersey Devils beat the Seattle Kraken 3-1 in a tight game. Even if his team won and his goalie only let one puck get past behind him, Dvils' superstar Jack Hughes talked about his team's struggles between the pipes this sesason in his post-game comments.

Jack Hughes Takes a Shot at His Goaltenders After 3-1 Win Over the Seattle Kraken
The Devils' goaltending department has been struggling this season. In Jersey, only one goalie has a SV% over .900, and none have a GAA under 3.15.
Hughes started by praising Nico Daws, who had a nearly perfect game last night, and said that when the goalies play well, the team wins.
Here's what he said:
"When we get the saves, it's much easier to win."

Hughes expanded on his goalie thoughts in the scrum:
"Yeah, I think (Daws) played really well. Vitek played really well in Carolina. You get goaltending like that the last two games, it shows the results. He did a really good job tonight and we are happy with how he played."

The Devils are sitting at the 4th rank in the Metropolitan Division for the moment. They're followed closely by the Islanders, Penguins and Capitals, who could make a push for the playoffs if the Devils' goalies don't play well. However, if they perform, the Devils are almost sure to be a part of this year's playoffs.
Do you think the Devils will get a goalie from the trade market before the deadline?
